Shape Run 2008

It's a lazy sunday morning today.. Waiting for my mummy to buy breakfast back.. I've been accustomed to waking up early n not sleeping so much since work started so I woke up at 9am today! On a sunday, waking up at 9am is unbelieveable.. coz my sis will sleep all the way till noon..

Anw, since I've nothing to do now, I shall blog! Hee.. about what I did last sunday.. which was a very happy sunday and I make a very huge achievement!

20th July 2008 - I woke up at 5:30am when everyone else is still in dreamland.. Mummy woke up earlier too to make bread for me to eat and send me down to padang for my race.. it's my 1st marathon.. I was excited! We met at padang ard 6:15pm, slowly deposited our bags, put on deep heat, sun block etc.. and slowly make our way to the starting line.. Here we are all sweaty after the race.. tee hee.. sheena wore her cap and was looking cool all the way throughout the race! Thanks to her cap, I could spot her and try to catch up with her most of the time.. haha.. everytime lost her at the water stations.. coz I always stop to drink water.. lol.. then I turn cannot find her already. Anw, she's very good to run with.. she runs with a constant pace! Love running with her.. next time shall run with her more. :)Shuping (sheena's uni coursemate), Sheena n Me under the blue blue sky.. *smilez*Our finishing line.. which is visible from 600m away and I just ran all the way to it.. pple were cheering u on.. the mood is really very encouraging.. I love SHAPE Run! Us with the super huge bottle of H20 which we shared and finished.. Shui Tong!Nike Women.. I'm a fan of NIKE! Dressed from top to bottom all nike.. including e sports bra.. which is super comfy! hee.. =pThe long queues for all the free gifts after the run..
The goodies bag.. my shoe bag and my number tag.. 1593.. it's a magical number.. being able to finish the race is really magical for me because no long after I started running, I had stitches and my ankles were hurting.. but I endured through it.
Super happy me jumping estatically in front of the Parliament.. this is my big achievement.. Completing my first 10km run! *grinz*

Dinner with Seannie @ Bukit Timah

Last fri, I met up with Seannie.. she's back from aust for holiday from her studies.. :) she's going back again soon.. :( I miss her lots when she's not around!!! We met at around 8pm.. sorry gal for making u wait so long for me because I ended work late again at 7pm. Hope u like the dinner as much as I do.. :)
Us at a jap restaurant along Coronation Rd.. The photos resolution aren't v good because they were taken using my hp.. Seannie brought cam but I haven't gotten e photos from her. We wanted to sit inside e restaurant but it's fully reserved. This is how e interior looks like.. but e ambience outside is not bad too. I like the candle light.. hee.. :)

Eel Rice!!! My favorite dish.. and think it's wansean's fav too. It's really very tasty.. and we were so full after eating everything!
My gifts from her.. love the gifts lots.. love her lots too! She bought me a white pouch from thailand and aust chocs and special straws from aust to drink milk!!!
I tried the strawberry flavor straw already.. very nice!!! Very SWEET! The straw will turn pure milk into strawberry flavor or choc/cookies n cream/banana.. cool rite?
After the very stomach-filling dinner, we strolled to serene center.. remembering those days when I used to go serene mac for breakfast before ny band prac.. I m going back ny band to play for alumni this aug! Looking forward to that.. I went back on tues for alumni prac after work.. really like the feeling of going back ny!
After disgesting abit of our dinner, we walked back to the coronation stretch of restaurants for desserts! And we played this pyramid boardgame over there at the ice cream cafe.. It's a fun game where u try to sabotage each other.. but I m soooo silly, I helped wansean build the base of e pyramid not knowing that I shouldn't because the base is very hard to get. In the end, seannie won the game. But it's alright.. it's e process of playing n company that's more impt. :)
Lastly, to end with a photo at the ice cream cafe.. it's open till 11pm so it's a good place to chill out at. *smilez*

Today is a very delightful day for me and a very special day for Dear's bro n gf! It's e day his bro n gf meet each other's family members and I m glad I was given a chance to go for it as well.
I didn't take any photo during the food tasting because I figured I should be acting matured.. hee.. so I sat that nicely and try to be as quiet as possible.. haha.. but my chatty mouth can't really be closed.. so I started to give my comments to his bro abt e food. Hope I wasn't too chatty.. hmm.. it won't be nice if I just sit down there and keep really quiet right? Anw, below are the photos of the place which I took from the website.. a very idyllic place.. very comfortable. :)
Initially the feeling was abit quiet but we soon broke the silence and both family communicated quite well. I like this kinda warmth atmosphere and it's very happy to see them plan for their wedding. I sat between Chris and his bro then it's a combi of 2 very chatty person so I was very entertained by them. His bro's gf (who sat beside his bro) told me that I've to get used to Chris's nonsense when I say that Chris is always talking nonsense.. hee.. I guess I'll need a bf who talks nonsense all the time so that I won't be bored.. I dun really want a serious serious bf. During the dinner, his bro told me to start saving already... and he's very helpful to guide me along (I realized from the past conversation with him at his hse etc) as I slowly get settled w being in the workforce. I m glad that his bro has alot of frens working in TECH as well.. so there's a "family" kinda feeling about me working in TECH. I like his bro's gf too! Especially her clothes.. think it's very stylish.. and I keep asking Dear to compliment her and ask her but Dear refused. *hmph* Well.. pretty girl will always be pretty.. and a bride will be e prettiest of all. Looking forward to the day I get marry.. guess my neck will be v long by then.. coz it won't be in e near future.. Every girl longs to be cinderella.. every girl wishes to be a princess.. and I guess that's e theme for their wedding.. think it's very s-w-e-e-t!!!
I must commend about the service there.. it's really good! The waitress that served us has alot of initiative and it's through an incident that happened tonight, she showed it through and I really think she's great. She's very attentive and considerate to us, attending to our every needs. I don't wanna say too much about the incident but her thoughtfulness is much appreciated. Dear agrees too.. hee.. but dear, you cannot dun want me and go like her k.. =p
After I started working, I've less time for Dear so I specially took time-off to attend this today. Initially today's training supposed to end at 7pm but I went off at 6pm in order to be on time for this. Dear.. pls feel my effort k.. and I wanna make it today also because you are leaving for KL this fri for a short trip w ur frens.. so wanna meet you before you leave. Remember to miss me k.. and behave yourself! Much love, darling.
